Blacked out my grill
#12
Painted my rear rings after sanding. They didn't come out incredibly smooth as if from the factory. So I took them both over to my body shop guy and he's painting them for me. Should be ready today. He said use a scotch brite pad to scuff them up before painting.

That's good advice. I first heard it on that 'Wheeler Dealers' show on Discovery's Velocity Channel

just posted pics in a separate thread if interested. My local shop charged me $48 to paint both sets of rings, thought it was a decent deal. The front ones you can remove youself, allegedly, to have painted. I couldn't get them off without damaging the surrounding plastic, so I drilled it out and bought a new one. Kinda pricey at $50 each for front and rear. But well worth it. I just wish someone was making these already in black. Guessing those will come out within a month or two.

I bought brighter LED plate lights and had to hack and saw them to work.....going to get a dremel tomorrow to do the the other one, nearly chopped off a few fingers sawing the first one it with a small saw.
I am waiting for some roof/trunk spoilers to come out as well.
