I have a 2012 A6 Premium Plus with just over 13K miles on it. New to me since December with one previous owner.

Noticed this week that the climate control is acting a little odd where if I set the temperature the same for driver vs. passenger (12 o'clock position), the driver side of the center vent is blowing very cold air while the passenger side of that vent is blowing warm air. The outside temperature was in the low 60's yet the 12 o'clock position ont he driver side was still calling for A/C.

I had to turn the passenger side temperature down a couple of clicks for the air to chill on that side. Likewise, if I left the passenger side at 12 o'clock, I'd have to turn the driver side control up to almost 4 o'clock for it to turn the A/C off and blow the warm air that was coming out the passenger side.

When I had a 2005 A6, there was a TSB out for a similar issue.

Was wondering if the 2012 A6s have the same problem or whether this is just how it is supposed to work.
