Its funny everyone talks about weight, HP and the diff between HP between the old and the new S6...

No one has spoken about torque and how low that torque is available..I think the new S6 has all 406 lb ft available at 1400rpm..that's huge...e.g. the S4/5 have ~330 lb ft but that is at 2900rpm...

Torque makes a huge difference...Anyway i would never kill my car by using launch control..

Also according to AOA website 0 to 60 is 4.5

I have seen multiple posts reporting that Audi under reports HP on multiple models, so that probably reconciles some of the math. I saw a Motortrend dyno test of the S8 which reported 575 HP, 55 more than advertised. A similar boost to the high 400s for the S6 would make more sense.

I've tested it out myself, and managed to get a sub 4 second time to 100 km/h.

The car does 0-160 in 4.7 seconds!!!! Even looking at that video it shows in the 4.8 sec. very close to 5 sec range! Have driven both cars. Had a salesman race me and was 1/2 a car length ahead....100-200 the v-10 takes it! Go and test the car out yourslves!! I have done this, and 4.7-4.8 IS WHAT THE CAR IS POSSIBLE OF DOING!!!! NOT FASTER!!!Come on!!! The S8 does not do it faster and it is THE fastest 4 door audi has!!! Quote from Audi mag...bla bla bla....."not the sort of feature that you'd expect to find on a sedan that can go from 0-100kph in just 4.7 sec"! Thats was for the S6. No real world test has come out with a under 4 sec test. The video shows that the car hit about 90 before the gear change in the 3.8-4 sec mark. But it still has to change gears and go another 10 cliks. At least half to a full second! Give the car an extra 500 rpm's to play with/ without that gear change, then i could see it being possible. Maybe with more power to play with as well. Like the 450 460..Not the 520 of the S8.

The Stasis 410hp S4 with 350lb less weight can only go 0-100 in 4.5. Yes the TQ curve has some to do with it, but it comes down to hp tq and weight.

That video shows a 4.8-5.0 0-100! Easy to see! Not even close to 3.8. Tested the car out myself and as the video shows, about 4.8-5.0 real life 0-100!

In that video, accelerations starts at 0:00 and the analog speedometer reaches 96 km/h (i.e. 60mph) before the clock reaches 0:04 . A sub 4 second to 60mph is definitely possible
