I noticed something the other day (don't know if its a hidden gem or not as I don't read 500 pages of manual just for fun). With the engine off but in accessory mode the auto windows don't work. You have to hold the button.

This seems like less of a gem and more of a limitation.

stumbled across this very nice thread being a proud owner of a brand new A6 C7 facelift with MMI Nav+ touch since two weeks.
Did you know that the MEDIA button works very similar to the RADIO button when pressed repeatedly?
Not sure if this was available in the past and/or if is already documented in the manual, but pressing the MEDIA button multiple times will switch between all 'active' media sources. So if your smart phone is plugged into USB slot 1, both SD card slots are occupied and the smart phone is connect via WLAN hotspot as well, pressing the media button repeatedly will cycle through:
USB-1 > SD-1 > SD-2 > AUX > WLAN > Jukebox > USB-1 > ...
After releasing the MEDIA button, the last song played on the selected media will continue to play.
Please note that AUX and Jukebox are always considered 'active' media source. The sequence might be different as I just tried to remember.
I live in Germany, thus driving a German model. But I guess this might work for ROW incl. US :-) as well. My S/W version is MHI2_ER_AUG11_P0034
Greets,

I had a 2012 A6 Premium Plus that I recently replaced with a 2015. The new one now has a feature that unlocks the trunk when you kick a foot under the bumper. Great for when your hands are full.
