I have the same car as you, installed the aftermarket carplay kit from China....currently wired USB to the phone for the link.... you guys are able to use a wireless USB dongle and connect to your phone for wireless carplay?

Incorrect. I had mine updated to MHI2_ER_AU57x_P3634 with full Audi Smartphone integration.
Guy I found on Audizine from China dialled into my laptop and car remotely and activated it all very successfully. No new hardware needed!

I was wanting to know if you still had the person from China contact info? Would love to have the same update, been looking for a way to add Android auto to since I purchased this vehicle. Dealership said they would try to update and if it failed and they would not charge me anything but if it took hold then they would charge me hundreds of dollars but they couldn't get it done.
