Default Cannot change volume

Ive had my '14 A6 prestige for about 2 months. I got in the car today and when i tried to change the volume on sirius, the volume bar on the screen pops up and says unavailable.

I can change the volume on AM/FM and on bluetooth though. When i change it on one of these the volume changes on sirius.

any ideas?

I know Sirius did an upgrade this morning as I had to wait about 45 seconds while it slowly showed me the %'s downloading.

Try resetting the Sirius receiver via your Sirius online account. Worked for me, had issues this morning with my "traffic only" subscription. Called Sirius support, had me do the reset. They confirmed they're having issues today due to their system upgrade.

Good luck.

I think the update caused that in the morning. I had the same issue. Just went to grab a bite and it works now. Sirius did an update and changed some station names it looks like. Short trip to lunch so didn't look into it much.

I had the same problem this morning after the Sirius update. I was able to change the volume by changing the source from radio to media. This was a temp fix and after a short wait, the ability to change the volume when in radio mode returned. I had no further problem and think this is a temporary inconvenience (at least it was for me).

Yep, had same problem this morning. Was immediately followed by Sirius update message. Once update done, volume back to normal.
