Default Contrast Piping Floor Mats

So I just had to order something for my car... it's like a nervous twitch

I pulled the trigger on the High Contrast Piping OEM Floor Mats. They add a unique touch to the cabin atmosphere. I was hoping they would be a different and/or thicker material, but they are identical to the OEM ones, with the exception of the Piping and the A6 logo

Snapped 2 quick cell phone pics. The color is more of a silver/pale grey. Would be a really sweet addition to Ice Silver Metallic and Quartz Grey

it was an impulse buy... looks good, but I was hoping they were slightly more "heavy duty"

Yah, they don't make the mats like the old days. My wife's '02 allroad mats are twice as thick as my '09 A4 mats. I guess we should be grateful they're not using linoleum.

My Last few Acura TLs had very durable, aesthetically pleasing mats. I am shocked how cheap the A6 mats appear/feel

What do you guys think about the contrast edges? overkill or subtle?

I like them and I would buy a pair for summer and car show use.

Would prefer them with S-Line contrast stitching like they get across the pond and on the S6.

Those mats look very sharp. I have ordered a set for my Quartz Metallic with Titanium Grey interior A6. I think having darker mats will show less dirt and protect the carpets. Thanks for your post and photos, really nice mats.
