Engine chassis brace
Can this be removed temporarily to help investigate an oil leak?
this is an old pic previous to a 2k repair by the dealer for an engine oil leak so I've been assured the engine was degreased and properly cleaned as part of the repair, but from experience i dont trust them!
It looks like that brace can be easily removed while the car is on a lift giving better access to the underside of the engine and gearbox for a good inspection

Based on the installation guide for this part I would say your safe. If I am wrong I'm sure I will be corrected!

Yes, the brace can be removed. The bolts are supposed to be replaced because they are stretched when installing. Make sure that there is no weight on the wheels.
