This Extended Warranty Worth it?

I’m about 3,000 miles / 5 months away from the expiration of my factory warranty on a 2012 A6 prestige. My local dealer just offered me a third party extended warranty that appears to be offered by the dealer’s sister company (Hendrick Autoguard) for $3,400 (plus tax) to cover the following:
- “Platinum Coverage” – Highest plan that covers everything including the Navigation
- 36 months coverage or 60,000 miles
- Zero deductible if fixed at that specific dealership or $100 if fixed elsewhere
I know it’s just a matter of time before something breaks on these cars. I'll need to find out more details on all the exclusions.
Is this a good price? If not, are there other extended warranty providers you would recommend I look into?
