I can't view the pictures on my iPad because the pictures from Audi USA are flash. Seriously? Flash is dead. Even Adobe is going to drop it. I find it hard to believe they still support flash. [ rant over ]

Don't care. Flash is a way of life on the web, as flawed as it may be. The fact that Jobs got his panties in a wad over that is stupid, but does not affect reality for the rest of us.

That's another thing we have, an opinion, which Apple denies their users.

You're beloved Flash will be short lived. Superior HTML 5 is making the bloated Flash inconsequential. Even Adobe realized flash for mobile needed to die and has killed it. So rant away on Apple if you wish but mobile device Flash is already dead.

And no matter whether one prefers Apple or Droid, I agree with the OP. Flash is dead for mobile devices and even Adobe has surrendered and ceased development in lieu of HTML 5. Flash is just too bloated for a great experience on a handheld device and Apple realized that years ago.

Finally, Audi has not been known for having the best auto manufacturer website - often slow, inaccurate and late to publish new models. For example, I was driving my 2013 for a month before you could even see, much less configure, a 2013 A6 on the website.

no one has said Flash is that good, but to deny the standard of the (current) world doesn't exist is stupid. On Apple's part, not yours.

And hey Bud, anyone who has to use iTunes has no place talking about an intrusive bloated piece of crapware.
And, as you pointed out, no one is 'forced' to use Flash...
