Default Front Facing Toddler seat in rear center

Is it possible to install a Front Facing toddler seat in the passenger center? My son is about 34lbs and 3yrs. while most of the times he will be on the passenger rear, if we have guests coming in, we would have to move him to the center.

I think it would depend the type of straps you have for your seat. if you use the actual connection latches that come with the car seat you might not have enough length to reach the inside hooks on either side. I had this problem with my kid's recaro seat in my wife's car. If you are using the seat belt then it might work. Also I feel like having the kid in the center of car is safer in the event of a side impact.

I would be extremely surprised if the LATCH straps on the left and right could be used to secure a middle slot car seat. As per savercar.gov, If there are aren't latches for the middle, you are recommended to use the seat belt.

Most vehicles will have lower anchors in the left and right rear seat positions. If there aren’t anchors in the center seat position, you can still safely install any child safety seat using a seat belt.
To the OP's question, I tried putting my new Recaro Performance Sport in the rear center of my S6, and while it fit, the center console was too close to my daughter's feet.
