So I have my Nav set to Google Maps/Earth view. I have my POI's set to "show everything". Now, when the map is in non-Google Earth/Map view, I see all the POI's. As soon as it picks up the internet and switches to the Earth view, all the POI's disappear from the map - this despite the setting to "show everything." Anyone know how to get the POI's to show on the Earth view?

If you would read the manual, it will tell you to push the MMI **** which will bring up POIs on the screen. They don't look or work the same, you have to move the crosshairs over them to see what they are.

My bad. I figured someone who could afford a $60K car would also be able to read. Silly me.

And I didn't design the system, if you can't use it get a Garmin.

it actually is easy to do... push it down, use the joystick to move. Or, use online destinations to find specifically what you're looking for.

Kris, no joystick action with the MMI control **** in the newer Nav+ Audis (i.e. C7's) - in Nav mode, the keypad and your finger do the scrolling. Still easy to do but takes a bit of patience to center it right over the POI. But, as you said, if I'm looking for something specific I do a standard or online destination search rather than trying to guess where a specific POI is using the map itself. If, for example, I just want to see gas station logos on the map, I change to standard from Goggle map and look for the icons.
