Heated mirrors on 2014 Audi A4

Heated mirrors on 2014 Audi A4
Quick but dumb question about the heated mirrors for the 2014 Audi A4. I know how to engage it via the power window dial. However, once I depress the dial once in the heated mirror position, I do not see any indication that it is on. The indicator does not light up nor do I see any message appear in my information cluster. Any information appreciated.
