Default Hello! Checking in with a 13 Phantom Black Quattro Presitige

I said bye to 06 A6 Silver 3.2L Quattro with 180k miles which served us for 8 years and welcomed 13 Phantom Black 3.0T Quattro Prestige a couple of days ago.
It is fun to drive, and instrument display is vastly improved from 06 and much better than 13 A4 Prestige we have. I like how Audi implemented multi taps and kept the vital information for each tap on the top row.

It has:
Innovation package
Cold Weather package
20" Sport package
LED headlights

Head-up display is very nicely done except it is hard to see with sunglass on.
Ventilation seat is wonderful for hot summer for black interior and seats, although it could use more cooling power.
I am very happy with the car.

I know you are tired of seeing same pictures, but I have to show you proofs right?

Congratulations! I don't think anyone here is ever tired of seeing pictures: I think they are kind of required, right??

Enjoy and best of luck with it.

black on black - you have good taste! :-)

the vent seats - its just a fan that blows the air, they are not air conditioned seats...which would of course be nice. its noticeable and I wouldn't NOT have them, but yeah they could have done more with that. I've been in other cars, including trucks, that had better vent/cooled seats than the Audi.

Congrats! Nice car & I never get tired of pics either.

As far as difficulty seeing the HUD display with sunglasses on I suspect your sunglasses are polarized like mine. Non-polarized sunglasses don't seem to exhibit that problem. If you move your head slightly to one side I find it improves the ability to see the HUD screen when wearing polarized sunsglasses.

Pathguy and jpru2001,
Thanks for your warm welcome.

DanfZX14,
Yes, it is polarized sunglass which is required for my fishing hobby
Thanks for the tip, and I will give a try.

Echoing the previous post --- get some non-polarized sunglasses for driving and there is no issue, plus I believe the windshield is polarized. Not worth contortions to see the HUD, especially if you drive more than a few minutes.

The Prestige is a nice package, it's what makes the car a luxury car. I agree with prior posts that the issue you are experiencing with HUD is polarized sunglasses.

For me I usually drive with my head leaning against the headrest and I only have to shift my head very slightly to the right and I can see the HUD with my polarized sunglasses on. No contortions required...your mileage may vary

Want to keep this clean engine bay as a record.
Dealer did an impressive job detailing it. It is literally spotless!
It never will be this clean going forward.
