Not only does Homelink not work with ignition off...try the horn.

If someone opened my garage in the middle of the night, I'd know it. Lately there's a wheel that's got a ridiculous groan to it - it sounds like the earth is opening up!

Some WD40 on the wheels and hinges should clear that right up.
