Default JUKEBOX CAPACITY

The JUKEBOX has an un-formatted capacity of 20 GIGS.

20!. no more, no less.

It doesn't matter how large your music files are or your VIDEO FILES, (yes the MMI will play 720p .AVI movies)

Copy your music files from your desktop to a micros sd card or a standard SD card, until you see approx. 17GIGS of music and movies.

Insert it into the slot on your dash, and use the IMPORT FUCNCTION to import these files to INTERNAL MEMORY

UNFORTUNATELY, it will NOT read any additional files from the cards after they are imported which really is a shame.

Cards also cannot be larger that 32 GIGS and must be formatted into FAT32. before using them.

After importing the files you can remove the SD cards completely.

Hi guys,

Just digging up this thread as I have a query on it too - I've have a 32gb SD card (filled to 19.9gb) in my 2012 A5 with standard audio system which works without issue, but when I've tried to copy the songs to the (empty) hard drive it says complete at 995 tracks? There are a good few thousand on the SD card and I purposely kept it below 20gb to fit all the music in the hard drive. There are no folders, just individual tracks. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help!

I've come across this problem before. You need to limit your SD card to under 1000 files for each import. Then delete them all and add another batch of 1000 files. Pretty dumb and frustrating but it does work eventually.
