Thus I am probably looking at around 60 days instead of 90 days now
Nice. Did they tell you what option it was?

I saw previous post, people were getting B&O headphones...etc
Well, from personal experience I say "no, Audi does not give gifts any longer". I purchased my new A6 Prestige in November and have recieved nothing from Audi, aside from a little booklet.

Congrats, you'll love the car. Garnet red is a fantastic color. What option did they add?

If they could change the color, why could they not drop the option? The car gets painted first, then the parts are bolted on.

In the end the Audi won me over.

The Mercedes E-350 - actually stopped there on a whim just to see what they had and was actually impressed with the car. Test drove two sedans and one coupe at different times. They handled better than I expected, had a very good engine, probably the most luxurious ride of the bunch, a very comfortable seat and nice interior.
I test drove the E-350 and even ordered one because I could get a wagon, and the A6 Avant isn't imported anymore. But I thought the MB engine was far more sedate than the A6, but agree about comfort and ride. More geared toward comfort than performance.

Looked at the BMW 3 series XDrive but didn't want to wait for the wagon to start getting imported. And the 4 cylinder turbo seemed to suffer from too much lag.

I ended up canceling my MB order when the dealer learned they were going to be making a restyled model for 2014 which would have lowered resale value of the 2013 considerably.

Now I've ordered an S6 which should be in in a few weeks. Luxury, performance, and an empty bank account... but while I'm not too old to appreciate it.

Hershey nuggets at Cavender Audi. I like the dark chocolate with almonds, but I will settle for ALL other flavors.
