I was on vacation in San Diego last week. My hotel room was on the 30th floor of a hotel on the Marina.

Looked out my window, and the Harmony Leader was steaming by headed out of port (big a#$ ship!). So you car made it to San Diego :-).

Instead of opening a new thread, I thought jumping in on this one might be helpful in my quest about finding where my A6 is right now.

I know my VIN and the ETA at destination port. Using the Volkswagen Logistics link provided on this board, I found that either the Olympian Highway or the Seven Seas Highway could carry my new vehicle across the ocean. In fact, the Olympian just left Emden last night, according to MarineTraffic... so I thought knowing my VIN would be helpful in finding which is the right boat. Well, so far, no go...

As far as I can tell, Wallenius-Wilhelmsen tracking site only works with VINs of vehicles leaving Bremerhaven, while the A6 is shipped from Emden. Besides, neither of the ships listed above are part of WW's fleet.

In any case, my dealer says they have no way of knowing which vessel is or will carry my car.

I found that the Olympian Highway is listed by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, but their schedule page is apparently not updated often, or they are no longer the vessel operator:

The Seven Seas Highway is even tougher to get info on, as it is listed as being managed by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Line, but I haven't found a way to find a tracking page.

So, any other way of finding out where my A6 is? Any experiences on tracking VINs on either of those boats?

Where are you located, and what port does your dealer get deliveries?

What is your expected port date (dealer should have that).

Located south of the border and dealer advised an ETA @ Port of Veracruz = week of May 21.

Does anyone know what port is listed as US SSI ? Our Q7 is on Nippon Highway and destination is listed as that. Our port is Houston, as of now the ship is out of range for tracking. It loaded in Emden on 6-1-12.
