The Houston ship (Mediterreanean Highway) has unloaded all the US cars on Monday and has left port (for Mexico) Tuesday morning.

Look forward to contributing here.
Awesome News for me!! Just got e-mail from dealer telling me my car is on a Boat! (So it must me the Nippon Highway) Which is in Emden and Should arrive Houston Jan. 09. So for those of you waiting for cars, they seem to be moving faster than originally promise. I guess better to under promise and over deliver than the opposite.

In regards to contributing to the forum: Mentioned to my dealer the phone call from Audi Customer service regarding my "gripe" about electronic owner's manual and he told me that they have been asking Audi USA for a while and have not gotten anywhere, but since they called back, it may be something worth pursuing. So in regards to that, I have started another thread dealing with owner's manual and will send a link to Audi Customer Relations, who knows maybe they will listen to owners more than dealers. Go ahead and write to Audi at the website and see if we can get them to do it.

Your vehicle arrived at the port of Brunswick, GA on the "Garnet Leader"
on 12/15 and is currently awaiting the delivery release to your dealer
in Maryland. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience or
misunderstanding you may have had in regards to the location of your
vehicle, and appreciate your patience during the shipping process of
your new Audi.

As the Audi program allows a minimum shipping time of eight (8) weeks
from the vehicle drop-off in Europe to the US delivery, please be
assured the logistics team is processing your vehicle through the
required channels in accordance with the shipping time-lines of the
program. Once a vehicle is inspected and released by US Customs it is
released back to the port for the required vehicle preparation,
installation of your vehicle accessories, and dealer allocation. Given
the number of new vehicles processed by the port, a standard working
time of 5-7 days is required to complete these additional checkpoints.

We have asked the port logistics team to expedite your vehicle through
this release process, and they expect your vehicle to be carrier loaded
in the next 24-48 hours. Based on the holiday schedule, the carrier
has provided an approximate delivery date on or before December 27.
Thank you again for your understanding.

Kind regards,
The Audi European Delivery Program
