Default Is it me or are the pedals...

Is it just me or are the pedals in the 2012 c7 a little close together?I find myself brushing against the brake pedal while hitting the gas. IDK may i just had big feet lol...

Sometimes, I am stepping on the brakes at a red light and wonder why my rpm is at 2000, took me a few times to figure out I was stepping on the gas at the same time

weird i find my self doing that twice maybe and that was when I was wearing my running shoes and i wear size 10.5-11.5 but then again the space between them is nothing like American cars.

I'm used to Japanese cars so it didn't seem different or annoying to me

I went out and measured 4 cars:
Audi 2012 A6 spaced 2 11/16" apart and brake is 5 1/8" wide
MB CLS (E class chassie) spaced 3 13/32" apart and brake is 4 13/16" wide
Ford Edge is spaced 3 7/16 apart
Toyota Van is 3 1/4" apart.
The Audi is giving up space and adding width. One would assume they would remember what happened back in the 1970's when the pedals were too close and 60 minutes faked crashes.

Agree, and I just wear a size 9. Had the same problem with my '08 A6 also, so not new to 2012s. I'd like to hacksaw about 3/4" off the right side of the brake pedal.

I have noticed this too. I think it is a pretty big issue for those of us with big feet and living in winter climates where we have to wear boots in the winter. I don't see why they cant just replace the brake pedal with something a little more narrow.
