Ok, I'm feeling stupid. Is there an ashtray? I have a storage thing in front of the gearshift lever but I don't think there's an outlet in there. I'll check again

yup, there is 1 there, 1 below the armrest, and 2 in the rear seating area.

Now that we are talking about the Radar, did anyone notice any poor performance with the radar detector in these cars?

Funny, my radar is under the armrest right now because my suction cups are dead and even though it has no line of site to a satellite, it's still giving me red light camera warnings where appropriate and the detector still goes off around cops. Weird. And it's nowhere near the windshield.

There is an outlet in the ashtray. When I get back to my car I will take and post a pic.

See that little silver thing sticking up right in front of the gear selector, slide it towards the AC panel. That is where the Ashtray is, and the extra outlet.

Could be that you have a smoker's package or something on your car. Mine does not even have an ashtray, much less an outlet. Just a storage bin there.
