My new 2015 A6 had the same issue. It's milage is only 12 miles. I checked other forum, people says this is a typical issue for VW and Audi car. Some says it will go away after break in time. My question is what's root cause of this? Will it real go away after break in period? I only had the same feel after washing my old Japanese car. Should I require a service check?

It happens due to the brake pads and rotors being new - they want to grab at slow speeds. Over time, once the brake pads are bedded in, the condition becomes much less noticeable. As I wrote in post #3, at least that what occurred with my four Audis.

I have to agree with you, after about 60 mile driving, the noise is getting better but I still can feel some. I hope it could go away completely later. Their quick manual mentioned this noise issue and claims it is caused by third generation brake system ( metal to metal). so it definitely is a DNA for Audi.
