Would echo this . . . my DWS are great in the snow (granted Midwest 2"-4" type snowfall). They're not quite up to par with my old Blizzaks, but then again my DWS ride & handle better in the dry, and are orders of magnitude quieter and less expensive.

Quote: "I just happen to have the perfect tire for you - that is when mine arrives the first week of June and I swap the OEM 19" summer for all seasons!"

Appreciate the offer...I think![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
But the mileage reports don't look so good on those OEMs.

So I just took delivery of my 2013 and I also have the 20inch wheels with the sport package and I was looking to replace my Pirelli's with the Conti DWS all seasons and was looking for feedback specifically on how the larger size wheels and tires (even with a great tire like the DWS) handle in the snow. Usually the larger diameter doesn't do so good in snow so looking for feedback on keeping the 20's on with all seasons.

I had the DWS on my '09 A4 and it did ok so long as the snow was under 4" or so. A/S tires like the DWS will not provide the same snow performance as dedicated snow tires but will do fine on plowed roads. Just remember the stopping distance is not really advantaged much by Quattro unlike when accelerating - allow lots of stopping room,

Unfortunately, the Bridgestone RE970AS is not available in the 20" but is in the 19". Having owned both excellent tires, I prefer the higher rated (and more expensive) RE970AS but A6 OEM wheel size availability dictates choice.

Thanks Snagit, I was talking to the OP since he's looking at 19" rims I wanted to make sure he knew that at this time, the DWS aren't available. If he's hard pressed on the DWS then he might want to look at other rim sizes.
