Ordered Car - Pricing?

Gentlemen,
As the pickings for the 2012s is starting to become thin, it looks like the best way to get "what i want" will be by ordering a 2013 model.
Obviously, dealers aren't moving as much on pricing for the 2013s that they have on their lots, as they do on the 2012s.
What kind of deals are people receiving on 'ordered' cars?
I'm interested in a 2013 A6, Prestige, LEDs, 20" sport and driver assistance package.
Here is my thought...an ordered car is a 'sold' car. The dealer will receive 100% of the hold back. I'd like to see if i can order a car and pay invoice.
Crazy? I know that most dealers have 'quotas' on sales and I doubt most dealers are allocated a limited # of A6s.
Thanks!

As far as I know Audi does not provide any dealer holdback. So you're basically negotiating on price above invoice. General consensus is 5% over invoice on an Audi is good. Sometimes you can do better (I actually managed under invoice for my 2013 order, but that was a fluke as my dealer and I were working off of 2012 pricing, and he honored it on principle when 2013 pricing finally came out), but new model year, I wouldn't expect your dealer to budge much.

Was told there was no hold back by a few sales guys over the years but the guy I bought from recently said they had some sort of incentive kick back from AoA once the car is sold and that the dealer evaluation was more than satisfactory.
