I'm afraid the news back from Audi is not positive. They stated there is no way to extend the current loyalty incentive availability past Jan 4, 2012, and they have no new incentive program that they are will to commit to at the moment.

As my 2008 A6 comes off lease in two weeks, it looks like Audi will lose this sale. Disappointing.

There is a new conclusion to this story. Audi called back yesterday and said they were commiting to a loyalty program after Jan 4, 2012. They would not commit to the dollar amount, but they did commit to a continuation of the program.

i would really like to know if Audi will extend this into 2012 delivery, my dealer told me i have to take delivery of the before dec 31st to get the rebate, which eliminates me from ordering a car and take what he can find in lots

As far as I know, the audi loyalty program does not include other luxury brands, that would be called a conquest rebate program. I could be wrong, but maybe yopur dealer is giving you the $2000 out of pocket and trying to make up the money somewhere else.
