Default PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT

Hello, need some help to fix the airbag issue with my 2012 Audi A6 3.0T (CANADA !!!!)

Recently noticed that passenger airbag always stays ON, even when someone is not seating there. The light near parking aid sensor button always showing "passenger airbag on" because it does not light up.
If someone sitting in passenger seat, and ride without belt, system detects and start beeping.

Adding photo :

From youtube, and others portals, I noticed that if someone is not seating in passenger seat, the "passenger air bag off" light light up

Adding photo of others :

Has anyone faced this issue?

Thanks in advance for any advices!

did you buy the car new or used? What year?

Canadian models i think upto 2014-2015 that light never goes on, i.e the airbag is always enabled. Mine has been the same since day 1 and i found few people with late 2014-2015 onwards had that function work.

Dealership had told me on many occasions that this was normal operation.

I still vote broken light....
Based on what you said, it never lights up, but beeps when a passenger sits there without buckling the seatbelt, so the system registers a person is there hence the beeping, but the light just never turns on when there is no one in the seat.
Did you ever get VCDS scans to get more detailed information?

I bought salvaged from copart with minor damage, but airbags did not deploy. Maybe canadian models up to facelift did not have this option ?

VCDS shows that no fault code found.

Mine is 2014 and it has no light, i checked another 2014 that was later built than mine and it had that light. Dealership claimed it was perfectly fine after consulting with Germany.
I harassed them every time i went in.

Looking more and more like a broken light.
If the actual airbag system was malfunctioning then a code would likely be present, but maybe not for just the light being burned out.
