No **** on the cleaning! Feel like I wash it every day. I got the plate frame off eBay. Really. Think it was under $40. I'll probably get 35% tint. We can't tint windshield here in Chicago. The rings were painted by my collision guy for $48. I'd love to get my exhaust tips painted black now

I was thinking about getting the wheels from oem plus also. I have 18s on now, you said no spacers needed. Would I need anything special as I have the regular suspension? Also which michelins did you get and what size, as I think you can get different 19s? Are they pretty quiet?
Thanks in advance

I am a criminal defense attorney. I don't recall the size of the tires but they're pretty quiet and give a nice ride. I have the regular suspension and just added the lowering springs.

Which springs did you get? I am looking to lower mine about an inch or two

H&R. Lowers it about 1.3" front and 1.2" rear, according to the specs. Looks great.

I like it. I'm not a big fan of lowering the car but in this case it doesn't appear overdone.

The 19-inch wheels look really good--much better than the OEM 19-inch sports package. Your post is extremely useful to me. I'm thinking of getting those for my winter wheels if I get an A6 (still not sure if I'll get an A7 instead). Do you have a pic that shows more of the side view? Thanks!

I can try to take pics late, little swamped today. And yes, too much lowering looks odd to me too but I love the look I have. Gives it an aggressive stance without being overbearing. And this thing hugs the curves. Took an offramp today about about 75mph, no slippage at all.

Also, just a little advice, if you want, I would NOT get 19s for winter driving. Yes, I have them, and will hopefully not have an issue with these all season Michelins. But if I was going to have a winter setup and switch out my tires each season like I did with my BMW, I'd go 18s. I had 18s on my 7 series and they were perfect.
