Default Reverse side mirror

I know it's been asked before, but anyone know the steps to take to set the side mirror to dip when in reverse. I put the car in reverse, moved the passenger mirror how I wanted it, reversed out, and put the car back in drive. It did not go back to how I had it, stayed looking down from how I set it while in reverse. Not sure if I am missing a step or something.

Did you adjust it down while in reverse with the mirror **** turned all the way to the right position?

I believe it also has to be enabled in the MMI.

It got stuck with me like that once, it's a bug in programming I think.

Before going into reverse, make sure the mirror switch is already set at the passenger mirror. Then go to reverse and adjust accordingly.
