So, I have a set of 18" winter tires for my S5, question is do I need to sell them or is there any chance they will fit on my 2013 s6? I ordered the S6 with 20" summer performance, so Im thinking to go from those to a tire 2 inches smaller even if they did fit would completely change how the car drives.
Thoughts?

If you have the tires already mounted on S5 18" wheels, you will have to check the offset and hub size as well as tire size to see if they will fit. Someone familiar with the A5 spec or a forum search might be able tell you if they would work but I'm guessing they won't match up in wheel size, tire size or both. If the hub size of the wheel is smaller than the A6, no way. If it's larger, hub rings could help but I wouldn't recommend them - been there done that with vibration issues. Then there's the possible offset issue...

I assume you will be buying a set of A6 compatible 18" wheels for them? If so, and they're 245/45-18 or close to about 84" circumference/756 revs per mile as on the A6 OEM 18" setup, then yes, they would probably work. Any difference in size will make your speedometer/odometer be incorrect, not to mention handling will be impaired.

Great info, thanks for all that.
