As for how they felt, if it was a new car the brakes likely weren't bedded properly which are the most important thing when it comes to how they feel.

15" 2 piece fronts, with 6 pot Brembos, 14.7" rears, with 4 pot Brembos.

I think the ones on the X5M are 400mm. They're 15.7". Not nearly as good as the V's though.

FYI, oemplus.com sells the S6 brake upgrade for $3950.00. Based on what their website includes in the upgrade kit I selected what I think are the same items and have come up with a price difference of about $1600.
