Default Standard wheel offsets?

As I shop for wheels for my on order A6, I am learning about whell offsets. So on the A6 what is the offset of the 19 inch and 20 inch wheels that Audi supplies? Looks like they are both 8.5 inches wide and the 19 takes 255/40 R19 and the 20 is 255/35 R20. The Hartmann wheels I am looking at are ET38 for the 19 and ET40 for the 20, but when I look at Audi's accessory web page it lists Audi's accessory wheels as ET48?

Thanks.

RobC made a excellent wheel chart thread. I saved a bookmark in my Audi folder.

There was a typo on #8. The tire size should be 255 not 225

Looks like the Audi 19/20 wheels are both ET45, I noticed that the Hartmann 19 is ET3 8 and the 20 is ET40, is that anything to be concerned about on the A6? I see pictures of a C7 A6 on their web site with the 20 inch wheels, be damned if I can see a difference.

Nothing to be concerned about. The wheel will stick out 1/4 inch more than the stock wheels. Some people are adding 15mm spacers which effectively reduce the ET45 offset to ET30.

They won't stick out past the wheel well right? I like a flush look, but don't want the tires sticking out past the top edge of the wheel well. These days are dragging by waiting for this car ;-)

As tenspeed noted, the difference is roughly 1/4". Nothing to sweat about
