This is just a pet peeve but since I typically leave the Nav map on the MMI, whenever you start up and begin to drive, within 30 seconds or so the MMI asks if you want to make a 3G (4G whatever) connection to Google Earth maps or something and you can just click YES or NO. Since I'm beyond the freebie 'Audi Connect' and don't intend to pay for it, the result is a fail regardless of which answer you give it so how do I simply stop the Nav from asking me that question every single darn time I start up? Any instruction much appreciated.

Yep, press TEL - Settings - Connections - Data connection - Connection - No prompt

Well, if you are not gonna renew Audi connect, then you should turn off Google Earth. Go to Nav -> Settings and set the Map to Standard instead of Google Earth.

Further good advice, thanks. I'm probably tapping into about 1% of the MMI's capability!! Think maybe I should sit and run through settings in each mode and dial it in a bit more.
