Default SuperCruise?

As reported by the BBC:

The 2017 Cadillac CTS sedan, which will go on sale in 2016, will have the necessary transmitters and receivers fitted as standard.

The equipment will let it know the location and speed of other vehicles, as long as they are also fitted with the technology.

A different model, as yet undisclosed, will offer a "Super Cruise" function, which keeps the vehicle in the centre of the lane, maintains speeds on the motorway and controls braking.

Is there a reason that Active Lane Assist is so sloppy with its steering correction? It seems that it has the necessary information to hold the car in the middle of the lane. When it bounces off of the lane markers then it will eventually cross the line and the DIS shows red so it obviously knows that it didn't turn the steering wheel enough even though it has control over it.

I saw some adaptation channels which appear to instruct ALA to stay in the center of the lane, but I didn't play with them....

I think that the new Volkswagen Audi Group Intelligent Navigation Assist should soon be integrated into the newer models.

So the VAGINA that they are referring to gives up at 37 MPH.
