Hello everyone,

New here and new to Audi cars. I found a 2015 A6 at a great price with only 30k km and still under service contract until 75k and I couldn't pass it up. Mind you, I knew the car wasn't loaded. No moonroof, no Bluetooth, no Navi, and most importantly, no led headlights. I figured I can just buy the LED headlights and swap them but I'm now hearing it's not that simple.
Please let me know if I can upgrade those standard halogen headlights to LED somehow.
Any input will be much appreciated.

Sam,

Your car is a C7 platform so you should post there.

However, you are correct that you can't just use led into the halogen housing. At least without significant mods or you'll be blinding on coming drivers. BTW you should list where you are located, since Audi models differ based upon country./region.

Thank you for your reply and my bad about posting in the wrong section. Like I said, I'm new to Audi and honestly didn't even know I had a C7 lol.
Anyhow, I wasn't saying I wanna put Led lights in the halogen housing. I was talking about swapping the whole headlight. Housing and bulbs and ballast. Maybe my post wasn't clear enough. Can that be done? Is it going to be plug and play?
Also, I'm located in Dubai and you are right, the trims are different here as I've never seen a 2015 A6 without LED lights back home (Michigan). So my car is what they refer to as GCC specs.
Also, what about the taillights, can those be swapped as well?

This will give you an opinion of what it is needed.

Since you have halogen there is more to it, but at least you can make an idea about what is needed and cost and analyse if it is worth it.
