Trunk wont open.
Out of the blue the trunk wont open. The fobs don't open it, the switch on the trunk itself and the switch on the drivers door don't work. Only the manual release works but crawling through the dropped back seats isn't going to be very convenient.
When I look at the fuse info in the owners manual, it says on the fuses in the back trunk area, that B9 is for the luggage compartment. Interestingly enough, there is no fuse in the B9 slot if I am counting them correctly, ie left to right, 1 through 12.
AND, now I have a CEL.
Any ideas???

Just wanted to thank you for the reply to this. I was having the same issue with the trunk not opening on my Audi 2010. After reading your post, I found out that the valet button was activated somehow, which was the source of the issue. Great help!
