this thread saved me a pretty embarrassing trip to the dealer! Crawling into the trunk was not fun. Really appreciate it!

Old thread but had the exact same thing happen to me! Thank you! Valet button fixed it.

If you ever need to get into the trunk, you can fold down the rear seats, and you are there.

Thanks for this tread. Just had this happen to me. Couldn't figure out what happened. Cursing Audi for a week now! Thought this was heading towards a time wasting and costly trip to the dealer.

Another baffled Valet button here for my 2017 A6. I was convinced it was a fuse or something. I was just about to schedule what would have been an embarrassing moment at the dealer!

Another thank you from another 'how did I not know this?'.
I happened to know exactly when I hit the Valet button and now know that it has a red light to show when active. Unfortunately, the first time I pushed it, I could not see the light. Lesson Learned!
