Ok - so my Tmobile trial is over and I purchased a Truphone sim card.... I know the card works as I put it in a phone and I get service. I followed the instructions (APN, no password etc) and I get the 2G icon on the bottom of the screen. When I try to connect I get a message saying "data is not available, try again later".
I called up truphone and they told me" we do not support usage of truphone sim that is not in a cell phone" - so that wasn't helpful
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Welcome to the Truphone club :-) At some point they are going to catch on I'm afraid. Just remember - limit use of google earth and wifi hotspot.

Soooo... What does Truphone cost? I see the purchase for $29.95 but what is the monthly fee?

Lots of posts about it. There is no monthly fee. It is prepaid. You load it up and pay as you go. With google earth and wifi disabled, it's well under a dollar per month.

Sorry for the noob question (just got my A6) but with google earth and wifi disabled what is the main use for the Truphone card? Pay as you go sounds good to me since the A6 is not my main transportation but do plan on doing a few long road trips per year with it.
