Default Valcona seat sagging

My drivers seat is sagging noticeably in the base under the left buttock area. Is this to be expected with Valcona leather? The car has only 1000 miles.

Doesn’t sound normal to me unless the driver is unusually heavy/big. I have a buddy who is 5’8” and goes well over 250 lbs. Every car he leases he gets charged a lot at lease end for the armrests and door upholstery being abraded and scuffed from his trouser belt rubbing. Likewise the seat coverings are really stretched out and loose for which they charge him. Most vehicles are designed for an average sized driver. Not saying this is the case with you, but it is the only thing that comes to mind when it happens so soon.

I only weigh 196 lbs! I googled this problem and it seems to be quite common.

Take the fat credit card and cash bloated wallet out of your back pocket.

Good point. I never carry a wallet in the back pockets - mis-aligns your spine and kills the seat.

Haven't you heard - we've got a major recession on here! No more bloated wallets round these parts.

Everything fits and less wear and tear when I lose a few pounds around the waist and seat areas.
