Hi, do you know the washer fluid tank capacity for the a6? I searched this forum and googled for it but did not find it.

I need to switch out the washer fluid with a custom mix of Kristal Klarr mixed with distilled water. Is the capacity something like 6 quarts?

It's listed in your owner's manual. Probably around 1 gallon if you want a guesstimate.

Be sure that stuff won't cause problems. I've read where some Audi owners have had clogging issues when using those types of washer fluid additives.

I don't know the capacity, but I can tell you I haven't had to fill mine in a year. I'm starting to think maybe Audi found the washer fluid dimension and the reservoir just tap into that.

That last part is just for comedic effect, but I seriously haven't had to fill it all year.

Your signature does not state where you are located. It's listed in the manual as 3.7 quarts unless you have a non-US model that has the headlight washers. The capacity will be 5.2 quarts. This information is listed in the Technical Data section of the manual under Capacities.

My light came on a few days ago to refill it. I bought a gallon container of that stuff and topped it off, started to overflow with about 1/10ths of the gallon left. So my guess is it's close to a gallon (which is in line with what someone else said about it being 3.7 qt.)
