Default Wheel pin

Do you need a wheel pin to help install wheels/tires and if so is included in the trunk tool kit?

You'll find a cheap plastic screw in guide pin located in the foam block beneath the spare. I doubt it would work well for even one use. Stop at the Porsche parts department and buy an aluminum pin for about $10. I used one for years you remove and install my snow tires every year or bleed my porsche brakes for track days. Don't wait until you need one to learn you you have a crapy one!

Edit - yes you will need one to hold the wheel in place as you start the first wheel bolt.

The guide pin is black plastic and well hidden in a slot in the black styrofoam block beneath the spare.

Do you know the size.y Boxster is 19 and my A4 was 17. Is the 2013 A6 also 17?

893 012 223 Plastic

Get the metal alignment pin. The OEM plastic pin could break off and you would be in big trouble.

It’s not this pin that they are talking about,

It’s this pin to help align the wheels bolts.

The numbers you're quoting are the socket sizes for the hex head on the wheel bolt. The thread size (diameter and thread pitch) are the same on the Porsche and the Audi.

Thank you. I thought the thread size on the wheel alinement pin that I use for the Porsche was larger.
