Default Rear diffuser removal A6 S-line?

Anyone with any experience? Plenty of info on C7 removal, but it appears the C8 has a slightly different attachment, would prefer to not destroy the original one while removing it. TIA.

I used info from this link

https://remont-bampera.com/en/audi-a6-c8

You will have to remove rear lights (not taillights ones) to remove pin which is holding bumper , rest just screws as shows in the puc

hope it helps mate

Thanks for this. Were you just replacing the diffuser? And can you confirm bumper removal is necessary just to get to the diffuser?

I had to remove mine to fit S6 rear diffuser

if you have a lift then diffuser can be removed without taking bumper off or if you can raise car from rear and get under it risky but possible.

Thanks for the info. The end results are worth the effort; this is exactly the look I want; looks great!

Are you going with all black badges and emblems, or none at all ?

Black model designation and rings. Probably just on the rear. I've got rings for the front but I'm keeping it chrome for now. Just waiting for some consistent warm temps to ease removal. I may at some point install some lowering springs, otherwise, It's looking the way I like it!

Nice, good to see someone who’s happy with just a couple of changes to their A6. I also used an oem S6 valance as I wanted fitment to be spot on.

And extra points to you for committing to the real deal! It feels like more than just a couple: 1. paint correct/polish 2. clear bra full front 3. ceramic coat (Halo, CSL, ExoV4) 4. swap stock 19s for oem 20s (also ceramic coated) 5. chrome delete all trim (including front grill) 6. fix goofy fake fake exhaust diffuser. Could'a saved myself alot of bother and $$ by just checking the black optic package option!
