Trunk Issues

I recently picked up a 2019 A6, and I've been having some issues with the trunk. About 8 times now, I've come out to find my trunk lid open. Thankfully most of the times it's been parked in my garage, but at least two times I've come out from running errands only to see my trunk wide open. I'm not sure if this is simply a problem with the new fob design, or something in the trunk mechanism. I've also had a couple times when I've pressed the lock button on the inside, and it either doesn't close, or it closes but then pops up a bit. I've taken it to the dealer, and they did discover a "sporadic trunk fault" code. I'm due to bring it back in a few days to have them more thoroughly investigate this issue, but just wanted to see if my experience was isolated, or if it's a broader problem.

I've had some issues pressing the lock button on the inside of the trunk lid and nothing happening. The first time, I pressed it and walked away, assuming it did it's job, only to return from a quick errand to find my trunk open. Since then, I've been more cautious and sometimes it's taken a few times of pressing the button or using the regular close button and then using the fob to lock the car.

When I spoke to the associate with the service department she mentioned she has a similar problem with her car (also an Audi), and I spoke with the sales manager, and he said he has a Q8 and he returned to his SUV after running an errand and his lift gate was open too. So this might be more than just an isolated incident. I'll update after the car goes in for service.
