I have a 2021 A6 prestige. The tire pressure and temperature for each wheel was showing on the dash screen. Now I can’t find those. How do I get them back?

Hard to believe as the NA versions have indirect TPMS and use the ABS sensors to determine if a tire is down. Direct readings of temp and pressure require sensors in the wheels and only the RS versions have them. I also have not seem an option to add it to any of the other cars from the factory.

Another "scratch your head" decision by Audi. And yes, some will say those that have two sets of wheels blah, blah, blah. I get it. That's also a giant minority of car owners. It should have it no questions. Not only did my X5 have it (as most cars do now) you were also able to set that screen that showed all 4 tires/pressures to one of the hot keys for immediate display with one button. The favorites or hot buttons is also woefully lacking but that's another topic I guess.

Some have added it, but that means buying the 4 sensors, buying the receiver and coding it to your car, and turning on the feature with Vagcom or OBD11, a pain in the.....
Agreed it is Audi cutting cost in the USA with lots of other missing features standard in other countries.

IIRC, Glisse mentioned it can be added at the factory for $400 or so.

I have added the direct TPMS system to my 2021 S5 Sportback (there is a thread on how to do it). I got the parts thru Aliexpress. Some of the vendors there but not all indicate the same parts can be used to add it to 2017 and newer A6's. I also have a 2020 A6 allroad to which I would like to add direct TPMS. Does anyone know that it can in fact be done and if so, would the Vag-Com changes be the same?

Ouch, this answer hurts. I've been trying to find the tire pressure/temp display in my 2021 S7 and thought I was just being stupid. That's why I came here - for the answer on how to find it. Now I know it doesn't exist. I have two other cars, each that cost about 1/3 the price of the S7, that both have the readouts. To me this is a pretty important safety issue. Audi, what are you thinking?

It looks like they added direct TPMS to all A6 versions as standard equipment for 2022.
