I just bought the car (2019 w/5K miles on it), still trying to figure out if I can finally keep a car that I don't drive in the winter, or if I will end up driving it year round. I have the stock 20" wheels that I really like, so getting them corroded is not what I want to do. So if I drive winters I will buy another set for winter and make those summer wheels. But I am tight on storage space for another set of wheels, already have one set for my Mazda sitting around, each set gets about 4-5K miles a year on that car, and my truck without snows gets about the same 5K miles per year.
Regards,
Bob

Reason: just removed a typo
So you have a winter set of tires for your truck also ? I usually buy winter tires for any vehicle that I may use as I can’t afford to take the chance of being stuck. So even though most of my vehicles are awd, I still buy winter tires to give them every chance. As far as storing, I rented a small storage area and I keep them there for peace of mind.
Nope, no winter tires on the truck, just 5K a year total. I do add about 400 or so lbs in the bed, as it is rear wheel drive. But it doesn't need to go anywhere often.
I used to have storage at my son's house, but that is no longer an option for me. Bigger issue is that I have a trailer that used to be stored there as well, so finding a place for that is harder.
Are these posts editable? I don't see that as a button anywhere, am I missing something?
I think this may be related to time or number of posts since joining. I now get an edit button on my posts. I wasn't expecting to change other people's posts.
