Default Care to point to where this magical machine connects to the vehicle

in order to "pump fluid through the transmission"?

Have you ever looked at this transmission up close and personal? Can you identify what the orange circle is in the above pic, which I took?

I don't think there is a "flush" happening. I know one of the most senior mechanics at the local dealer, have hung out with him at Road Atlanta during two years worth of Petite LeMans, and have discussed the issue of transmission services with him at length. To our knowledge, there is no way to do a "power flush" of these transmissions (A6 and A8). You change the fluid a couple of times to achieve a flush.
