Default NFW....

First off 125/hour vrs anything less.

Second..not knowing which engine, but if you needed a timing belt job, which includes the WP and much more, most dealers would charge $1500-$1800.00

Most indy shops will charge about 1000.00 for the full TB service.

The waterpump itself..is only about $80.00 on a 2.7T and probably the same on most others.

Shop around..or get a complete description of the the dealer is doing..it is way too high.

Default Re: $1800 for water pump?

Owning many Jaguars which are quite expensive to maintain I've replaced water pumps for less than $300. My experience with stealers in MV is horrible, go to an independent shop.
