$5,100.00 Bill From Dealer Today, Thank God For My Warranty America Warranty...
Includes timing belt/ribbed belt and ALL associated parts, replace front and rear main engine seals, lower oil pan leak. Parts were $1,500, labor was $3500. My out of pocket, primarily for timing belt and associated parts, fluids, etc., was $1096.00. Warranty paid $$4,000.00....whew! Glad to have my baby back! And before you 2.7 guys say it was too much, please realize than on the 4.2 V8, the engine and transmission have to be removed for the rear main seal replacement, not to mention that my front seal was replaced as well. Mileage is 100,700.

You know that AOA, provides little detail, and utilizes secret labor hour stats...
Did not ask because warranty company approved...I am not a mechanic. I just make money to buy Audi warranty's, Lol.

Woah,Wait a minute where are you getting the extra 60 ponies from?
I am thinking about getting the Giac chip and tiptronic chip for $1000. Any pros and cons? I just had my transmission rebuilt now I want more power. I still want it to drive civilized also. I did a search and could get a direct answer on the two mods.
By the way congrats on getting your baby back. I went 2 1/2 months without mine. Had a new appreciation my A6 when I got it back
