[255/35/18] vs [235/40/18] vs [245/40/18]

For the first get 255/35's. For the second get 245/40's, and for the latter get 235/40's.

The sport wheels on the 4.2 have a 45 offset. You will rub with a 31 offset and 255 tires. Go with the 235, they should fit. 245/40 is too tall. Also try the wheel and tire forum, Gary can also give you his thoughts.

Kuhmo MX and SO3's are wide - some Pirelli's and Yoko's are narrow...
You'll for sure need to remove the top fenderliner screw - and maybe heat up some of the fenderliner with a heatgun to adjust it a bit...
I ran 255/40/17's on the 4.2 Sport rims with the proKit - worked well once I got the above things done...
be great if you can find a shop that will let you test fit the fronts....rears almost always fit.
