Default '02 A6 Quattro 3.0 - Can I add a TwinTurbo?

I just got into the Audi Scene and would like to know if anyone has some good advice as to how I could add a TwinTurbo to my Audi for under $1000. Find a wrecked one and take a the turbo off of it and add it to mine? Any resources leads or anything? I'm in Arlington, TX... pics r on my site.

Are you talking about finding a 2.7t engine or adding turbos to your 3.0?

Default Not worth it

Your 3.0 has a higher compression ratio just like the 2.8, Audi droped the ratio on the 2.7 to allow turbo's. I have a 04 A6 Qt 3.0 and have researched HP gain, it's not there. Your only choice is the PES G3 super charger, but many have had problems with burnt valves and pistons if your lean or over boosted, the 3.0 is a base engine with the best economy overall.

well i was talking about adding the biturbo but now that that is out of the question i'm looking at possibly an exhaust n air filter. But I will most likely just add some subs n leave it stock. I dont think I will even drop it or change the rims, I like the stock look. I wont add tint either because then you will no longer be able to see the beautiful blueberry/cream contrast. I think I am now Audi for life... although I still have my eye on the CLS 550

I suggest getting a E39 M5, E55 AMG, or at least a 4.2L V8 C5 A6. I mean damn a 330i would make that 3.0 cry, I heard 3.0 A6 were most unreliable out of all the motors and models. So stick with something more powerful and has more options. Get the squires exhaust turbo kit haha, twin-turbo will get you some serious power.

Thats fine, I have a 1000cc yamaha for speed. I prefer to ride slow so ppl can see check my vanilla leather seats. I ride my Audi like I would a Bentley.

You already have an "air filter" that is more than adequate.
