Just a Quick Update. Called dealership today. They said Coils and something to do with the fuel system were covered. They would not come get the car but did offer me a free loaner after I asked about getting a coolant flush done. ( $150 seemed reasonable)

Called the local VW dealership to see how much a Version D coil pack was ( online $20) was $40 there. *Ouch

Have free towing from INS company so decided to go that route. Going to order one of the $20 coils just to have as a spare.

Now its on to do the research on the spark plugs.

Do you have to have an issue with the car to have the recall resolved? Bought our car used and don't know if this was done. Would Audi database have a record? Have no issues currently but if they'll check database and repair if not done, I'm game.

yes call any audi dealership give em the vin and they can check if there is any pending recall/s on your car.
